Ocean View Elementary School library will:
  • Be an integrated part of the school and community
  • Collaborate with staff in curriculum planning and development to enhance student learning.
  • Provide students and staff with easy access to quality resources in a variety of formats.
  • Provide instruction for both students and staff.
  • Encourage mastery of curriculum content.
  • Encourage life-long learning skills:
    • Reading for pleasure.
    • Reflective/critical thinking.
    • Problem solving.
    • Skills to locate, evaluate, and create information using modern technology.
